Spotding is a blog sparked by your love for style, what or who inspires your wardrobe choices?

I started Spotting in early 2009 and ever since its developed with my life, personal style and the various creative projects I've been working on. I'm inspired by all things, but especially people around me and music. My style is very eclectic and I dress according to my mood - I'm very into the 60's and 70's and I love Françoise Hardy!

Investment piece or impulse buy?

Both, but nowadays I think a lot more cleverly about what I buy, compared to when I was younger. I love good quality especially in shoes and bags which I often style with mud brands like Preen Line, high-street or vintage pieces. Currently I'm obsessed with Gucci and their 70's inspired universe and I have my eyes on a velvet bag and some colourful slippers!

You've worn so many hats - stylist, blogger, model, creative consultant and DJ - could you tell us a little bit about your career and how you got to this point?

It all started with my stylish German grandmother, who gifted me a sewing machine for Christmas and I started designing my own clothes. At 16 years old I was thrown into the fashion world when I started modelling in Milan, and after finishing high-school I travelled as a model for several years before returning to Copenhagen where I studied a bachelor in Design technology, business & brand design. As one of the first Danish fashion blogs I started a platform to share my personal style and inspirations. I've always been involved in various projects, working as a freelance stylist, creating fashion event concepts as well as DJ'ing. In 2012 I moved to London to study Creative Entrepreneurship at Central Saint Martins, followed by a full-time job as the International Events Manager at RewardStyle, where I created exclusive fashion events with partners like Net-A-Porter, MatchesFashion & Topshop. By the end of 2015, I decided to go freelance again and continue to develop my own business.

What motivates you in life?

Creative collaborations, music, inspiring and confident women.

Your website says you are a "citizen of the world", could you tell us your favourite travel destination?

I'm Danish born with a mix of English and German roots, so I've been travelling since I was very young. My favourite travel destinations must be New York, Ibiza and my home town Copenhagen. Next on my list are Japan, Morocco and Mykonos.

Best place to party in London?

I don't party that much in London (normally I do that in Berlin or Ibiza) - instead I mostly DJ at fashion events or members clubs like Isabel, Blakes and South Kensington  Club. When I'm not working, I like to meet up with friends at Chiltern Firehouse and listen to some old-school rock 'n' roll music like The Doors and The Rolling Stones.

If there were a song to describe your personality, what would it be?

That's a difficult one, but I do like the lyrics from Marvin Gaye's 'Let's Get In On' - "We're all so sensitive people with so much to give, understand me sugar, since we've got to be here, let's live, I love you".

What's next for you?

It's the coming summer period followed by the international fashion months, where I've been booked to DJ and collaborate with various brands. I am especially excited for my first DJ gig during Cannes Film Festival and in a brand new resort in Tuscany! Alongside the blog and DJ'ing, I also run a creative consultancy, where I'm currently working on a film project which I'm directing and presenting.
