Muse/Part 1: Katie Keight
So Katie, what are you up to at the moment?
Looking forward to summer mostly! I have a feeling this summer will be my happiest one yet, and there's a few exciting things on the horizon both creatively and personally, so that's what my head is up to at the moment.
Last year I filmed my first feature film, called Posthuman which was wildy rewarding and confirming for me. The film will be finished toward the start of 2016 so stay tuned. It's a creative time for me at the moment.
You could say I'm doing more things for my soul such as writing and signing, finger-food for the soul basically!
Tell us a little bit about what you do.
I tell every body I'm a slasher which people seem to love. I'm a model and actress. I've been modeling for five years and for the last few I've been broadening my horizons by taking acting courses and of course filming. I think acting is a natural progression from modeling and you can use modeling as a wonderful stepping-stone to cross into that world.
What’s your favourite piece from the shoot?
The sequin jacket is totally awesome!
I can really see myself mooching back from a rave wearing that or slipping it on as the moon becomes full at a festival. I need that jacket badly actually.
If you had to swap wardrobes with someone for a day, who would it be?
Realistically it would be Rihanna. Because of the diversity and contrast; she does masculine and feminine so well. I don't think my head would be anywhere else for a second and I'd have to do about forty costume changes, so that's an outfit per half hour with 4 hours sleep. Wait, scrap the sleep!
What three words would you use to describe your personal style?
Laid back. Awesome.....
